After School Arrangements
Any student staying after school must with a teacher, coach or supervisor. Please make arrangements to be picked up after school. This is also to reminder to all students participating in the Chapter 220 program that in order to take the 5:00 late bus you are required to sign up on a daily basis in the office. Bus service is available Monday through Friday. You must sign up by 1:00 if you will be staying after school and taking the late bus. Student may not stay at school unsupervised. Your cooperation with this matter is appreciated.
Box Tops Promotion ~ runs all year
If the Bonus Box Tops promotion runs again in spring - we might have one more contest this year. If not, keep saving them for next year! Collect them all the time, all year long, from all qualifying products. They are "free" money for your school - Box Tops are on a package you're recycling anyway - make sure you keep "recycling" those box tops into your collection for your school.
MTEF Community Walk/Run ~ May 20
MTEF Community Walk/Run is Sunday, May 20th. Registration forms are available in the office or you can register online at mtef.org. ~ Save the Date!
Steffen Variety Show ~ May 24
Steffen Variety Show: It's not too early to start thinking about participating in this year’s Variety Show. While the show isn't until May 24th, try outs are May 2nd and 3rd after school. All students trying out this week be sure to have your music and any necessary props with you. No Costumes are needed for try-outs. Also, any students who are interested in being part of the stage crew or announcers for the show, please sign up on the list in the office or see Mrs. Helms.
8th grade Class Picture ~ May 22 ~ Raindate May 23
The 8th grade class picture will be taken at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22nd with the rain date on Wednesday, May 23rd. Hopefully you will be able to schedule around this date. Thanks!
Steffen Sports ~ May 21st
There is a track meet tonight at Cedarburg High School. The meet starts at 3:45 p.m.
Riveredge Nature Center Student Nature Writing Contest
Any students interested in entering a nature writing contest sponsored by Riveredge Nature Center, please come to the office for an entry form. The contest uses art and nature to involve students in their writing. The contest runs through October 15, 2012. Entry forms may also be obtained at Riveredge Nature Center or online at www.riveredge.us.
